How to Play Funnel Runners

Read the tasks for this run, bring back the right supplies and finish the van’s repairs before escaping. The faults and surroundings change; this is a sequence, not a fixed shopping list.

  1. Check Your Van’s Tasks

At the driver’s seat, try the ignition to reveal the needed repairs. Read the current tasks and check the equipment already in the van before heading out.

Read the remaining sub-objectives: #014 hides “Start the Van” and “Check Mission Board” after those sub-objectives finish.

  2. Identify the Parts and Tools You Need

Open Van Schematic → Item Catalog to check an item’s use and size. The Mission Board’s outlines identify items for active quests; they do not show that a van repair has been completed.

A tire task needs Scissor Jack + Toolbox + Tire. Finding a spare Tire is only part of that job.

Look up your repair and tools
  3. Complete Repairs and Check Progress

Bring the complete tool set back, interact with the damaged component and finish its displayed minigame. Check the task’s remaining progress before searching again.

A part beside the van is not installed. Check the task after each repair or refill, and use its remaining progress to decide what is still needed.

Check the repair’s actions and completion
  4. Watch the Weather and Your Return Route

Read the Doppler Radar’s Status Report alongside what you can see outside. Match your protection to the hazard. When the F5 indicator turns red or its alarm sounds, stop adding supply trips and prioritize the van’s escape.

A parked van is not a promise of safety. The official escape protection applies to players already inside after the van has successfully started escaping.

Check the current hazard and equipment limits
  5. Leave the Area When the Van Is Ready

After working through the van’s required repairs, return to the driver’s seat and check Van Status. Use the steering-wheel “Leave Area” interaction when it becomes available. If it is not available, recheck the remaining van tasks and installation steps.

The ending is an escape sequence (Patch Notes #011); Auto-Skip Cutscenes can skip its animation. “Leave City” is the older prompt.

Platforms, Solo & Co-op

Can you play Funnel Runners alone?

Yes. The game supports solo play or online co-op with up to eight players total. Patch Notes #011 also enabled completely offline solo play; that does not make multiplayer or other Steam services offline features.

How do I play Funnel Runners with friends?

The host opens Session Info and copies the Session Code. Share that code with your group; guests enter it in Join Session on the Session Lobby screen. Steam friends can also use Join Game for an Invite Only lobby. Join before the match begins: Patch #012 prevents mid-match joining, and a code does not bypass a full or destroyed session.

Is Funnel Runners on PS5, Xbox or mobile, and does it have crossplay?

The release is available on Windows PC via Steam. As of April 20, console adaptation and crossplay were future possibilities, not a launch announcement. A PS5 or Xbox release date, console crossplay support and a mobile version remain unconfirmed. Xbox controller support on PC is not an Xbox release.

What PC do I need to play?

Steam’s minimum requirements list Windows 10 or 11 x64, 16 GB RAM, an Intel Core i5-10400F or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, and a GTX 1070 8GB or RX 580 8GB. Check the store’s full minimum and recommended requirements, including storage, before buying. Meeting the list is not a frame-rate guarantee.

Can you revive a teammate in Funnel Runners?

Yes. The developer confirms that death is individual: a fallen player can spectate, and a living teammate can use a Defibrillator to revive them if the body can be found. Use the van’s teammate monitoring to help locate them. Follow the current in-game prompts; detailed Defibrillator controls are outside this overview.
